Here We Come!
Look out Chicago, the girls are coming to town. For India's bachorlette party, we are going to Chicago with some lovely ladies to have a wild and crazy time. So, miss me. Ta!
my blog about everyday stuff, stuff that happens, stuff that bugs me, stuff I'm doing...all kinds of stuff.

So this weekend, I headed down to Middle of the Woods, MO (or just outside of Crane, MO) for my sister's second bridal shower. It was a ton of fun and even my non-drinking sister got a little jiggy with it.
Well, I'm working from home again. Between my sneezes, hacking coughs, and snot issue, I'm actually getting a lot of work done. I got some new medicine and though it's only been 2 hours since I first took it, I feel like it's working already. I hope it works anyway. I really need to get up and moving tomorrow. I have some meetings I can't really miss, and I need to get an oil change, AND I need to get a gift for my sisters bridal shower this weekend. Fun stuff!
Other than that, I have nothing to report. Being sick is really taking a lot out of me. I feel exhausted, even though I've been sleeping for like 10 hours a night.
I need some healthy mojo sent my way.
I'm sick. I hate being sick. At first, I thought I wasn't really that sick, but now I'm realizing that yeah, I really am that sick. Most of my friends know my love for food, and when I stop eating food, there is something wrong. I have a cold. A bad one. The crap in my lungs could be compared to that of what's in a smoker's lungs. I can't cough it up to save my life. So, today I'm working from home. Fun stuff.
This weekend was fun. Friday I went to a happy hour, Saturday I went to Columbia with Kara to do wedding stuff with India. Saturday night, we had a BBQ at my house, and yesterday I spent the day sleeping and then in the evening went over to have dinner with the family. Good times.
This coming weekend I will be in Branson for India's second bridal shower. Fun stuff.
Back to work for me.
Tony, that is. I am finally watching Sunday's episode of the Sopranos. There is going to be a little part of me that is sad when I watch the series finale.
Today was a shitty day. From the traffic, to the weather, to the headache I had all day. Shitty, shitty, shitty. The only bright side of my day was dinner! Chris and I split Red Curry and Spicy Noodles from Thai Kitchen. Soooooo yummy! Like a little piece of heaven. Sweet.
Well, laundry is calling my name. I'm out.
So, this weekend was great! Busy, but great! Friday night we went to the adult Easter Egg hunt at Queeny Park. It was cool. I hafta admit though, as we were walking through the park with our flashlights, looking for eggs.....I sorta felt like I was looking for a murder weapon or something. I was concentrating way too hard on finding those eggs. Either way, it was fun. Chris won Rod Stewart tickets. He ended up giving them to his mom. Saturday, I went to my old boss's bridal shower, and then that night we went over to the east side to Dan's going away/birthday party. After the party, we ended up at PT's. I had a great time, but paid for it dearly with a hangover on Sunday. I managed to get it together though, and we went over to Steph & Dan's with the fam for dinner. Overall, great weekend!
Today was pretty much the suck at work. Monday's always suck because they're my busiest day in this new job. My sister sent me an email that said "Seems like somebody has a case of the Mundays!" I had to laugh.
Well, I must finish watching this TV show. See ya!
It's true. I'm still alive. Actually, this blog is still alive. Some of you visit me on myspace, some of you don't. I'm back. I've been kicking around blogging here again, but finally made the decision just tonight as I took a drink of Amber Bock. So, let it be so!
This weekend is jam packed full of exciting activities. I'm off tomorrow, so that kinda rocks.
Well, I'm back and all that jazz. Tell your friends and neighbors!
