People.

I hate people. Everytime I start to like you, you find a way to piss me off. That just confirms my distaste for people.

I have a lot to say, but I just don't want to type it out. I have a paper I need to write. I just feel like doing nothing. Nothing. This is the last week I will ever be able to do nothing while being 24. I'm going to try and make the best of it.

Friday is dinner at the Melting Pot for my birthday. There are about 18 of us now. Do you think it's 'rude' that I'm not paying for everyone's meal?? It's not like it's a "party". It's just dinner with friends for my birthday.

I hate people.

Pay for everyone's meal? It's YOUR birthday. It depends on the group's collective expectations.
Is there a precedent with this same group, where a celebrant picked up the tab, or was somehow expected to do so? The best outcome would be everyone pays for themselves, and your meal gets split 17 ways. Happy Quarter Century, Dana.

It's your birthday and the people at dinner choose to be there. Screw them if they think otherwise. There were three dozen some people at my 30th last year and I didn't pay for them.

I hate people too. Some of my coworkers still haven't grasped that concept. It's a good thing my wife is such a socialite.

18 PEOPLE AT THE MELTING POT???

If two people are $100, Eighteen would be a damn big bill.
