Dana's Thoughts

my blog about everyday stuff, stuff that happens, stuff that bugs me, stuff I'm doing...all kinds of stuff.

My poor baby.

Chris had surgery today. He had part of his meniscus removed. He pulled through like a little trooper and he's home. He says he's not feeling much pain right now, so I hope tomorrow morning he doesn't wake up in extreme pain!

I was at the hospital all day. In the waiting room, there were these 2 huge women sitting near me. Every time they got up, I had to hold my breath because the smell was so bad. I almost puked once. It was so nasty and I was so glad when they left.

I made a cake tonight. It's a peanut butter yellow cake, with peanut butter icing and chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups sprinkled between the layers and on top. Then, I drizzled it with peanut butter. If you like peanut butter, you'd love this. If you're allergic to peanuts, you'd probably die.

Tomorrow I have to take Chris back to the doctor and then, drop my car off for service. It's time for the 60,000 mile service. Did I mention it's going to be around $500?!? WTF, chuck? That's too much money. I think it should only be $40. That would be fair. I think anyway.

Well, that's it. Tomorrow night we're going to a trivia night to benefit a friend of mine's girlfriend's dad. (Did you get that?) He has cancer and they're raising money for his medical costs. It should be fun. $15 for all the beer you can drink, trivia, and chips/pretzels/nuts. That's okay with me! Saturday we're going to a surprise party, and Sunday we're taking Chris's 'rents to the airport for their Cancun trip.

Busy weekend, I'm tired already. I'm going to finish watching The Apprentice, then go to bed. Night!
