Dana's Thoughts

my blog about everyday stuff, stuff that happens, stuff that bugs me, stuff I'm doing...all kinds of stuff.

It's Monday, but it's not...

Tomorrow is my Friday...sort of. Chris is having surgery on Thursday, so I have all day off. Then, I'm off for a half day on Friday, so that won't be so bad, as far as work goes. Although, I have a ton of stuff I need to get done before Friday. Oh well!

This shirt I'm wearing is making me sweat. I need to change shirts before I turn into a puddle of salt and liquid something or other.

I really hate it when I can't find people's email addresses. So I'll just say this here, in the hopes that she reads this. I'm really sorry for what you are going through right now. I'm not sure what comments people have been making to you, but my best piece of advice is to ignore them. I'm sure the baby will be fine, and you'll be fine. If not, you have a support spouse, and great friends, and you'll get through it. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you and you need to think positive thoughts too. So, I hope you feel better (emotionally) soon.

Mmk...moving on. I went to Wendy's tonight and got some chili. The guy working the drive-thru window was talking on a cordless phone while he was waiting on me. He was all laughing and "dudeing" whoever he was talking to, and in the process, did not give me back my change. It really annoyed me. I'm not exactly sure why it annoyed me so much, but it did because an hour later, I'm still thinking about it. I've never worked fast food, so I'm not really sure how hard of a job it is (though I'm convinced it can't be any harder than waitressing). Anyway, I would think the hardest job would be working the drive-thru window. Why would you be talking to your buddy on the phone, at 6pm with like 5 cars backed up at your window? Somehow, I just don't understand that. I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does.

I got some new Philly Swirl popsicles at Sam's yesterday. They're really yummy and you should try them. There are 4 different flavors, but so far, I've only had the cotton candy one. They're only 10 calories per bar. Sugar free, dairy free, gluten free, and peanut free. They're sweetened with Splenda and amazingly, they don't have that weird sugar-free after taste. Apparently they're going to be selling them at Sam's for like 3 months, and see how they sell. So, go buy a box, because I like them and I'd hate it if Sam's quit selling them.

All that talk of popsicles has made me want a popsicle. Damn my writing.

There's 88 days to go until vacation! I'm so excited! Wheeee! Did I already tell my faithful blog community that I got some new glasses? I don't remember if I did or not...but as soon as they come in, I will post a picture.

That's it for me. I'm tired of typing and I want to watch TV. Speaking of which...there's a guy who works at my company who doesn't own a TV. WTF is up with that? I mean, I totally respect people who don't watch TV, but you have to own a TV...I mean, what about CNN? or XBox, or DVD players. Am I the weird one here?

Be safe kids.
