Details..

Ok...so this cat has been coming around our house for about 2 weeks or so. It had tags and everything, so I tried to find it's owner. I called St. Louis County Animal Control, a bunch of different animals hospitals, I tried the phone number on the tag to the owner, and even looked up the address. The address was in No. Co. so I was a little curious as to how the cat got to St. Chuck. Anyway, we figured it maybe got lost during a move or something. Anyway, last night we finally let him come in and today we took him to a vet. Turns out he's about 1 year old, declawed, neutered, shots, everything. He weighs 10.5 lbs and he's a Manx or Menx however you spell that. Anyway, he seems to be a very loving cat. You can totally tell that he's been taken care of and he's used to being in a house around people. So, some of you know that I'm not a big pet person (besides my fishies). But, I'm going to give it a try. Chris really is in love with this cat so I'm going to try and like it too. We'll see how it turns out. But, I will say I think we did a good thing by taking it in. I can't imagine what would have happened to the poor kitty if it had been homeless much longer, with no claws or ways to protect himself. So, anyway that's my kitty story. I'm gonna go take a shower now. Maybe I'll post more about my day later.
