Woooo
Ok. News. Obviously I'm back from vacation. It was fun and full of German's and Brit's. The food sucked, the beach was nice. That's about it. Upon my return last week, I told myself I *would* have a job by Friday. Amazingly I got a job! My first day is tomorrow and I am so, so excited. The only downside is that I'll be working downtown so the drive is going to suck. I'm not even sure how long it'll take me to get from 94 in St. Chaz to like...Market & Jefferson. Do I take 40 or 70? Decisions Decisions. Anyway, I got a job and that's all that counts. And it's a good job too. I'm the admin to the director of IT. So that should be interesting, to me at least.
Today I spent *all* day (yes, really, all day.) shopping. Retail therapy is the best. The best I say. I got a ton of new clothes and a new purse. Chris is a little pissy that I got a new purse (again) however, as someone who is having a love affair with purses, I could not pass up a Coach purse that was marked down by about $45 with an additional 15% off. So I had to get it. Besides that, it goes well with my suits. Besides that, I also got 2 new pairs of shoes too. After spending all day shopping, I'm really tired. Shopping is hard work.
Chris and I worked out on Saturday and he's in so much pain he can hardly move. We really hit the weights hard. But man, it felt so good afterwards. It was nice. Saturday night, we went to Red Lobster and I got the unlimited shrimp. After the waitress brought my food, she kept asking me if she could get some more shrimp on for me. Well, I kept saying no, I'd wait. As I was eating my food, I got full like half way into my plate. Anyway I got to thinking about it and was like thinking how anyone could eat gobs and gobs of fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, shrimp pasta or popcorn shrimp. Considering that the 2 servings of shrimp they initially bring out is way more than enough. Anyway, I shared my thoughts with the waitress and she started laughing and said she was glad I said that because she always gets people who eat like 10 extra orders of shrimp and she said it was really gross how much people stuff themselves when they hear the word "unlimited". Anyway, when I first started typing this little story, I had a point, but now I don't remember what it was, so nevermind.
I'm sure there's lots more I'm leaving out, but I can't think of it right now. Anyway, I'm going to finish watching Cops and then I'm going to read and then, hopefully fall asleep so I can get up early for my "first day". Later!

My advice to you is to take Hwy. 70 to work. 40 totally sucks during rush hour. I leave my house about 8:15ish and get to work between 8:45 and 9:00.
