Dana's Thoughts

my blog about everyday stuff, stuff that happens, stuff that bugs me, stuff I'm doing...all kinds of stuff.

Wow, it's amazing how fast this day is going by. (Not that I mind or anything...) I've been pretty busy most of the day today. I guess it helped that I came in about an hour and a half later than usual.

This morning, I went to the DMV to get my license renewed. First, let me just say that I think it's crappy that you have to pay $20 to get it renewed. Whatever happened to the bartering system? I mean, shit. I have a few things I'd be more than happy to trade. Anyway, my new license looks funny. Sort of like a fake ID. My picture looks great..however I go to great pains to take good drivers license pictures..so that's really no great accomplishment, because my DL pictures always look good. However, my new license is all glossy looking. I guess MO got a new DL design, however I will say that I wish they would have kept the old one. Because my new license does not meet my specifications. (Not that it matters or anything.) It's just..too...glossy. I don't know what else to say about it, other than it looks fake.

I noticed that American has flights to DC this week for $139. A decent price me thinks. However, considering I have no desire to visit DC while Bush is in office...I will have to let this flight slip. *shrug* Maybe next year...when Kerry is in office. teehee.

Well, I'm supposed to play volleyball tonight, but I think I'm going to skip out. I'm going to workout instead, and hang with Beckie.

My family reunion is quickly approaching (July 21-25) and I'm totally not ready. Considering I have to psyche myself up weeks in advance to spend that much time with my family...I don't even have all the things I need to get for the reunion. (I'm the President this year) So, I really need to get on the ball. Maybe this weekend I'll go get everything. Does anyone know where to get a Horseshoe Tournament Trophy in St. Louis??? Anyone, Anyone?

Well, I think I'll go back to my endless search for a new cell phone. Plus, I have work to do. Seeya!
